 Social needs of a child

One thing a family can work on is promoting good communication. This can be done by sitting around the dining table and having conversations. Parents need to listen to the child and talk to the child. This helps develop the child's communication skills and teaches how to communicate with others.
Another thing families can work on at home is problem solving skills. This can be done with parental guidance. Parents can help point out what the problem is and think of different ways to solve the problem. Once they come up with different ways to solve the problem, the child (with parental guidance) can evaluate the solution and then come up with a plan to solve the problem. This is another way parents can work on communication skills with the child.
