The ecological perspective is a useful framework for understanding the range of factors that influence health and well-being. It is a model that can assist in providing a complete perspective of the factors that affect specific health behaviors, including the social determinants of health. So it is advantage to use while improving own wellbeing. It show the path us easily to address identified barriers. We can address individual level barriers easily and next we can go step by step forward by addressing family level , community level and finally national level.
It is easy to take actions for overcoming identified barriers in individual level.When consider some individual level barrier like busy life shedule we can address it by planning according to pre palnned time table and sharing responsibities among family members within home. We can prepare “Daily Time Table” at the end of the day marked the number of things achieved and number of things didn’t achieved. From that make a self-assessment by making a happy, neutral and sad mood on the calendar. With busy shedule our motivation to improve wellbeing can be lost. So we can take simple actions to address those such as , have our goal written and visible to us when wewake up, exercise before starting our day, think of what we look forward to on our commute, celebrate our small achievements we make, take regular break to freashen our mind, write down what we are greateful for before we sleep and read motivational quotes to keep our spirit up.
